The Website & Network Unit of NIT Agartala manages the network services, website and other domain related activity in the Institute.
Some major tasks being looked after by the Website & Network Unit are:
- Providing the internet services to the Institute.
- Providing the institute email services for employees and research students of the Institute.
- Hosting and managing the Institute website.
- Running all useful and essential services like naming services, DHCP services, firewall, web application services, etc to the institute for different purposes.
- Providing the facility of Net based installation of major operating systems to the Institute like Centos, Windows etc.
- Providing the support to the technical team of the companies visiting for campus placement of students.
