About the Conference

The Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology, Agartala is going to organize the International Conference on “Fuzzy and Computational Mathematics”, during October 26th to 28th, 2021 (Tuesday to Thrusday) in association with the International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) which is intended to bring pioneering and upcoming researchers to a common platform to discuss the pressing issues on the Fuzzy Mathematics and Computational Intelligence with the help of recent technology . This conference focuses on recent research related to any sub-branch of mathematics and its applications in epidemic problems. The primary goal of the conference is to promote the recent advances and research result in the field of Fuzzy Mathematics and Computational Intelligence and their applications on Engineering problems, and also to unite experts from Academic Institutions, Industries and Research Organizations and Professional Engineers for sharing of knowledge, expertise and experience in the emerging trends related to application of Mathematics in Engineering.

The conference is structured with keynote speeches, invited lectures followed by parallel sessions. The keynote speeches will be delivered by the eminent personalities at international level invited to introduce the theme of the conference. Each parallel session starts with an invited talk on a specific topic followed by contributed papers.

Papers are invited from the prospective authors from Industries, Academic Institution and from Professional Engineers belonging to the disciplines of Mathematics, Engineering, Science and Management.

About National Institute of Technology Agartala

National Institute of Technology Agartala, erstwhile Tripura Engineering College (established in 1965), the 20th member of the NIT fraternity, was established in 2006 to impart quality technical education into various levels of higher learning. It is a Centrally funded technical Institution with Deemed to be University status and is a National Centre of Excellence. About the Mathematics Department, NIT Agartala

The Mathematics Department was started alongwith NIT Agartala in 2006, formerly Tripura Engineering College, and a revered Institute since inception and completed its glorious fifty years, established in 1965. Mathematics Department is continuously motivated towards excellence in research and teaching and has accomplished in this venture to a large extent. Budding progressively, at the moment the Department teaches Mathematics to under graduate and post graduate students. From the academic year 2019-20, the Department offers BS-MS (Mathematics and Computing) and M.Sc. (Mathematics and Computing) courses togather with Ph.D program. From 2021-22 the department is starting a new course BTMT in Computational Mathematics. The Department has highly qualified faculty members consisting of one Professor, four Associate Professors, nine Assistant Professors, one Teaching Assistant and one Lab Assistant. In their pursuit of research the faculty members are doing an extensive study in vast and diverse fields. The Departemnt has recieved DST FIST grant of amount Rs. 49 lakhs. The Department recieved various projects from different funding agencies like SERB, BRNS, UGC, CSIR, MNRE etc.
